Forgive the abbreviated nature of today's post!
- You may have seen one of the articles up today about team ARCA's upcoming spaceflight, also featured in a Featured Article on the Google Lunar X PRIZE front page a while back. Some of those articles play a bit loose with their wording, so just to clarify: this is not a prize winning attempt. It is, certainly, a very important milestone, but it's not an attempt to win the PRIZE. I'm hoping that ARCA will blog more about this flight soon.
- In other Google Lunar X PRIZE news, Preferred Partner SpaceX has delayed their upcoming Falcon 1 flight until late July or early August. I hope you'll all join me in wishing the whole SpaceX team luck!
- There are some interesting developments going on among the Lunar Lander Challenge teams: Masten's work on their vehicle is progressing nicely, as shown in some photos; and Unreasonable Rocket's permit application was rules "complete enough" (which used to be known as "sufficiently complete") by the FAA. Kudos to both groups for their continued good work! Also, via Hobby Space (in turn via Dick Stafford), I see there are some cool photos of Armadillo's work on the Rocket Racers available online for curious viewers.
- If our Twitter streams just aren't enough for you, you can now find us on Pownce, too.
