Fun with Paper

In my previous post, I described some pretty fun technological tools for educating kids about space, but as it turns out, some of the old tried-and-true methods work pretty great too. I'm speaking, of course, about paper and glue.

Papercraft is the art of creating printable cutout models, and I've found some awesome space-related examples:

Just cut and paste (scissors and glue, not Ctrl-C Ctrl-V)! If anyone builds some of these, I'd love to see your photos.

If you want to have ALL the Space Shuttle Missions, you can! All you have to do is print the diagrams at home, cut paper, glue parts, and you'll have 3D/1:144/realistic scale models of the Shuttles... all for FREE.
