Las Cruces Report: Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 16:37:59 UTC

It's a sunny and beautiful day in Las Cruces, New Mexico. I arrived with a couple other X PRIZErs in El Paso, Texas last night, and we drove into Las Cruces.

In case you missed the news, the Northrop Grumman Lunar Lander Challenge is being held at the Las Cruces International Airport this weekend, October 24-25 (be sure to bookmark the webcast). We have two teams scheduled to fly: Armadillo Aerospace and TrueZer0. Should be a fantastic show.

The team is heading out the LCIA now, and I'll give a full report later in the day. In the meantime, I'll leave you with this little slice of Americana:

(FYI, this was taken about ten feet from the landing pads of the Lunar Lander Challenge. Sorry for the ShakyCam®, but I thought it gave the video that sort of Cloverfield look ;)
