BTW, for those who didn't know, that's evidently Heathrow below SpaceShipOne there. Ah... that will be the day!
Thank you! I'd built and animated the SS1 and WK1 models a while back, just because the acheivement of it moved me so. Jeff Rutan (Burt's son, and as you can see an accomplished 3D modeler) got in touch with me to do an animation of SpaceShipTwo - he built the ships themselves, I built the environments, lighting rigs and effects to go around them for a short jaunt from Iceland up to the Aurora Borealis. Sometimes life just rocks for us 3D kids :) I'll post links to the animations over the weekend if that wouldn't be considered spamming.
