A Night View of the Shuttle

I had the opportunity to take part in a night view of the Space Shuttle Discovery under the Xenon lights this evening. The Rotating Service Structure was pulled back from the orbiter to allow a full view of the shuttle. The viewing time immediately followed the STS-133 crew families' view time.

I also had the pleasure of taking part in this experience with the Progressive Automotive West Philly High School Team. The team was very impressed and I am sure that our Google Lunar X PRIZE Teams got some new very enthusiastic fans!
