Space geeks with computers, you will love this.

This morning, our friends at Dynamic Diagrams sent us a link to a really cool project that they've been developing. A few months ago they released a beautiful solar system visualization tool, which is modeled after an Orrery. Check it out below:

Previously, this was only available as a web-based visualization -- but today they released the visualization as a free, downloadable screensaver for both MacOS and Windows. You can speed up or slow down the visualization as you please, and can add in a Moon phase animation as well. Enjoy!
